SCI 100 Smart Cushion Details

Largely considered the best crash cushion in the market for safety and low maintenance/repair costs, this revolutionary crash cushion provides superior protection and deceleration for vehicles and motorists involved in collisions. The SCI 100 Smart Cushion is available in Test Level 2 and Test Level 3, and may be rented and/or purchased depending on your project requirements.

The SCI Smart Cushion is known as the world’s only speed-dependent crash cushion: it allows for variable stopping resistance based on the speed of the impacting vehicle. Thus, vehicles moving at slower speeds are allowed longer ride down distances and corresponding g-forces. Contrarily, the Smart Cushion reaches maximum stopping resistance when faced by a vehicle arriving at its maximum design speed. Its proprietary reverse-tapered design helps to eliminate side-panel stress during a collapse while achieving greater prevention of vehicles rebounding into traffic.

Delta Crash Cushion Details

We are also proud to offer the Delta® Crash Cushion, a low-cost MASH TL-3 non-gating redirective crash cushion by Traffix Devices. This crash cushion is made with a series of steel three-beam fender panels supported by steel diaphragms. The Delta attenuates energy evenly for all vehicle types, with shear bolts tearing through cut-outs of various sizes and shapes. Installation is quick and easy, limiting exposure to traffic, and the Delta performs in all temperatures and climates at a low cost. The Delta comes with a multi-directional object marker in chevron, left or right angles, quickly changeable in the field.
